Summit and Sur Photography was born of my love for the great outdoors and capturing the people I cherish most.

Growing up in Miami, Florida, I didn’t see mountains on a regular basis except for when we went out of town. In those instances, I was drawn to the beauty and the magic that they bring in their stature and the opportunities for exploration.

After moving west a few years ago, my family and I have spent countless weekends on the trail, exploring and challenging ourselves. When our children were born, we brought them with us (those crazy hiking-baby carriers are SO worth it) and let them learn to enjoy the excitement of crossing a stream, touching snow, or even seeing wildlife.

Photography was a natural interest because I wanted to capture all of the beautiful places we had traversed as well as my two children. Over time, that interest became something I was truly passionate about. I have enjoyed every photo session with families, couples, and children because it gives me an opportunity to do what I love while oftentimes getting to explore new locations.

As Summit and Sur continues to grow, it was a no-brainer for me to branch off into adventure elopements and intimate weddings. This has been the goal from the beginning because there is quite literally nothing I love more than, well, love. Mix that with the great outdoors and boom— here we are!

I am excited to be on this journey, meeting new faces and making new friends, where I am able to capture what is most important to you and provide you with images you will enjoy for many years to come. I look forward to working with you!
